Return Policy

Return Window

You can return most products within 7-15 days from the date of delivery. The exact return window may vary by product category and is mentioned on individual product pages.

Eligible for Return

Products are eligible for return if they meet the following conditions:

  • Product is unused, unopened, and in original condition
  • Original packaging is intact with all tags, labels, and accessories
  • Product is not damaged, altered, or customized
  • Return is initiated within the specified return window
  • Valid proof of purchase (invoice) is available

Not Eligible for Return

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Products damaged due to misuse or negligence
  • Products without original packaging or missing accessories
  • Customized or personalized products
  • Products with expired return window
  • Certain categories like perishables, intimate items, or products marked as non-returnable

How to Return a Product

Step 1: Initiate Return

Log in to your account, go to "My Orders", select the order you want to return, and click "Return Product". Alternatively, contact our customer support team.

Step 2: Provide Details

Select the items you want to return, choose the return reason, and provide any additional details or photos if the product is damaged or defective.

Step 3: Return Approval

Our team will review your return request. Once approved, you'll receive a return authorization and instructions for returning the product.

Step 4: Ship the Product

Pack the product securely in its original packaging with all accessories. We'll arrange for pickup from your address, or you can ship it to our return center using the provided address.

Step 5: Refund Processing

Once we receive and verify the returned product, we'll process your refund to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.

Refund Processing Time

Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days after we receive and verify the returned product. The exact time may vary based on your payment method and bank.

Refund Method

Refunds are processed to the original payment method used for the order:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Refunded to the same card (5-7 business days)
  • UPI: Refunded to the same UPI ID (3-5 business days)
  • Net Banking: Refunded to the same bank account (5-7 business days)
  • Cash on Delivery: Refunded via bank transfer or UPI (7-10 business days)
  • Wallet: Refunded to the same wallet (2-3 business days)

Refund Amount

The refund amount includes the product price. Shipping charges are refunded only if the return is due to our error (wrong product, defective product, etc.). In case of customer-initiated returns, shipping charges may be deducted.

Cancellation Policy

Order Cancellation

You can cancel your order before it's shipped. Once the order is shipped, you'll need to return it as per our return policy.

To cancel an order, go to "My Orders" in your account, select the order, and click "Cancel Order". You can also contact our customer support team for assistance.

Cancellation by Buildmart

We reserve the right to cancel orders in case of:

  • Product unavailability or stock issues
  • Pricing errors or technical glitches
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Delivery address issues

If we cancel your order, you'll receive a full refund within 5-7 business days.

Cancellation Charges

No cancellation charges apply if you cancel before the order is shipped. If the order has already been shipped, standard return policy applies.

Exchange Policy

Currently, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you want a different size, color, or variant, please return the product as per our return policy and place a new order for the desired item.

This ensures faster processing and better service. The refund from the returned product will be processed separately, and you can use it for your new purchase.
